Jaya was recorded September 24,25,26 2007 at "The Hobby Shop" Los Angeles, California, it was written and produced by Tommy Lockett. The album features Steve Weingart, keyboards, Tom Brechtlein, drums, and Scott Gilman, sax. It was a great pleasure to play and record with this group of musicans, Scott Gilman, and myself date back to our day's at the Berklee School of Music, where we both played in the late Herb Pomeroy's recording band, Tom Brechtlein is a drummer who has played with jazz greats, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, just to name a few. Steve Weingart continues our relationship from my previous release, "Opus", and he is now playing with Victor Wooton, Steve Lukather, and his own band Nu Alliance.
